Flatfoot Clogging

These classes are a great way for all ages to learn basic footwork in both the traditional and precision clogging styles including traditional solo flatfoot freestyle dancing as well as several beginning step sequences from the more contemporary style. We will learn solo steps, partner turns and group movement patterns and figures. The students will learn to develop their own unique clogging style and how to be a good timekeeper. We will use clogging mixers, improvisation and rhythm games along with the footwork sequences and clogging line dance routines throughout the semester. This fun class is not to miss!  Please call if you have class placement questions.

Chamber Music Instruction

Chamber music is the art of playing in a small ensemble of mixed instruments (duet, trio, quartet, etc.) with each player on their own unique, individual part. Playing chamber music is a wonderful way to hone all of your musical skills--rhythm, intonation, sight-reading, teamwork, and artistry--while meeting new friends and having a great time. We are looking for violinists, violists, and cellists of all ages and all levels from early intermediate to advanced to collaborate in a fun and challenging environment. We can place you in a group or accommodate a group you already have in mind.
